Sign Information

Our sign information link is a temporary service to the Lexington Subdivision community with the sole purpose of informing our residents on the progress of erecting the entranceway sign.

Where are we?
Lots of hard work and dedication was put into getting this project started and getting us where we are today. First the sign committee wants to thank all that donated there time and finances to this effort and be assured that with every passing day we get closer to having our sign. So, what has happened so far?

1. The sign committee was required to solicit the assistance of a certified public accountant. The CPA’s function is to prepare the requirements for a tax exempt/non-profit organization.

2. We have received our application for recognition of exemption (501(c)4) which have been mailed and will take about 4 to 5 weeks to return. What does this mean?

• Once approved, and we receive the document we will have the full legal right for the Mayor of Hinesville to deed Lexington Subdivision land up front for the erection of our entrance sign.

• Gives us other things we can do in our community such as, fundraising for events held by our subdivision, summer block parties, back to school rallies, holiday rallies, national night out events, all to be held on the subdivision grounds.

3. Funds were collected from the wonderful supporters (the residents) of our great community.
